Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Runbriel. They are short on purpose. Please read them, especially section 3.
1. What Runbriel is
Runbriel (www.runbriel.com) is a free website for running plans, run privately and non-commercially by Dimitrios Kolovos, Turnstr. 10, 90763 Fürth, Germany (see Impressum). There are no fees and no advertising.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Please give true information, especially your date of birth: plans are adjusted to it.
- Keep your password to yourself. One account per person.
- Don't misuse Runbriel: no attacks, spam, automated mass access, or offensive names (your first name can appear on the leaderboard if you switch it on). Accounts that do this may be blocked or deleted.
3. Health and safety
- The plans, paces, check-in and tips are general training guidance, built by fixed rules from your answers. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or coach.
- If you have a health condition, are pregnant, are returning from an injury or haven't exercised for a long time, check with a doctor before you start.
- Listen to your body. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or chest discomfort, and get medical help if needed. The daily check-in is a self-check, not a diagnosis.
- You decide what you actually run, where and how hard. Take care in traffic, heat, cold and darkness.
4. Your content
What you enter (profile, plans, workouts, notes) stays yours. You allow Runbriel to store and show it as far as needed to run the service for you, for example your first name and points on the leaderboard if you switch it on. How your data is handled: privacy policy.
5. Availability
Runbriel is free and is offered as it is. We try to keep it running and correct, but can't promise that it is always available or free of errors. Features may change, and Runbriel may end. If it ends, you'll be told in good time where possible.
6. Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health caused by our fault. Because Runbriel is free, any further liability is excluded as far as the law allows.
7. Ending and changes
You can delete your account at any time (how). If these terms change, you'll be asked to accept the new version the next time you log in; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
8. Law
German law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.
