Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you use Runbriel. They are short on purpose. Please read them, especially section 4.

1. What Runbriel is

Runbriel (www.runbriel.com) is run as a sole business by Dimitrios Kolovos, Turnstr. 10, 90763 Fürth, Germany (see Impressum). It consists of this website – a blog with general running guides that anyone can read without an account – and an app for running plans, which is currently not open to new users. Runbriel is free.

The Runbriel app is for Android. Distances, paces and times recorded with GPS or taken from a watch are estimates and can be inaccurate.

3. Your account

4. Health and safety

5. Your content

What you enter (profile, plans, workouts, notes) stays yours. You allow Runbriel to store and show it as far as needed to run the service for you. How your data is handled: privacy policy.

6. Availability

We try to keep Runbriel running and correct, but can't promise that it is always available or free of errors. Features may change, and Runbriel may end. If it ends, you'll be told in good time where possible.

Runbriel can connect to other services you choose, for example Health Connect or your watch's app. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their availability or for what they do with your data, and if a service changes or ends its connection, that feature in Runbriel may stop working.

7. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health caused by our fault. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential for using Runbriel and that you can rely on, and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the Product Liability Act is not affected.

8. Ending and changes

You can delete your account at any time (how). If these terms change, you'll be asked to accept the new version the next time you log in; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.

9. Law

German law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.
